I’ve been oweing pics, because I’ve been waiting to get the official pictures, but I don’t think I’ll ever get them – sigh – so i shall post up pictures bit by bit. This was on the 2nd last day of the trip, and the last school that we went to play/cook etc with.

Once upon a time, this was a classroom.

The only wall that is some sort of a wall is the one with a picture of the P and the.. VP? I’m not sure who the other guy is, but definetly its not the first lady.

This is Andrew, very patiently and nicely teaching the little girls how to make.. Hearts. Or cranes. Or.. I can’t rmber. He was the most most most most “fatherly” guy of the group! You can see why later, in other photos. What I rmber most about this particular tent, is standing in front with Cheryl teaching them A-B-C-D song!! Its quite cute how they will follow… But get stuck at L-M-N-O-P. Its sad how some of them.. O yes, the orphange – the few english words they know, are swear words. -sigh-

Leetle Boy.

Jabir giving out stationary sets to all the kids. :)

Oh, and to end off the school trip, I think thats the name of the school. I just was walking by and snapped a shot of it, but it was a bit blocked.

As you can see.. Mostly kids. They are really nice. :) Its an eye-opening experience, really, for someone like me who doesn’t like kids. I think I felt very flattered in one of the schools I went… But that’ll be another time! I gave up saying that I wasn’t from Singapore, so when they ask me if i’m from India, i just say Yes. Hahah.

Yes, I would think we’re the only group (the four of us) who took a picture with non-children. This was quite nice. The uncle next to me.. The really old uncle.. I prefer older people to young children, if we talk about working/talking/reaching out to them. Altho’ its not a common option. Anyhow, these people were very happy when we came back, and YJ and I went around saying, PHOTO? Den we got all of them to sit around together. SO NICE. :) O and this photo (and the previous one) was taken after we left the school.. While we were walking around the village *or what was left of it* to give biscuits and maggie and lollipops to the villagers.

Now that i think about it, and see the photos, I think all the kids were away somewhere. I really didn’t see many kids while walking around the village. In fact, I sat down with a grandma who was trying to tell me something about her cooking, an uncle who was re-building his house, a very old lady lying in her bed in the tent because her leg had been broken.. :( I think the kids were in front where the camera and balloons were. Haha.
